“The report broadcast this Sunday (January 12, 2025) sparked a wave of harassment against a witness. For the protection of victims, we have decided to remove it from our platforms,” writes the show presented by Harry Roselmack on his X account (formerly Twitter).

Named Anne and filmed on camera, the victim, aged around fifty, says she paid 830,000 euros to crooks who pretended to be Brad Pitt by sending him false selfies, falsified identity documents and using artificial intelligence to dispel his doubts.

Ruined and depressed

Pretending to need money to pay for an operation for kidney cancer, the fake Brad Pitt managed to extract large sums from this woman, who is now ruined and has made three suicide attempts.

According to the report of Seven to Eightshe filed a complaint and is currently hospitalized in an establishment specializing in serious depression.

Cascading mockery

But the worst is that since the broadcast of the report, she has been the subject of taunts from Internet users mocking her supposed gullibility.

Thus, TFC, the football club, posted a message on . And you ? “. Under fire from criticism, the L1 club then backtracked by presenting its “sincere apologies”.

The Netflix platform posted a message on X listing four films available on its platform in which the American star appears. “4 films to see with Brad Pitt (promise) it’s a gift,” says the message.

Our “Scam” file

Finally, comedian and Inter columnist Mathieu Noël made ironic comments about Anne’s fate in his morning post, Tuesday January 14, 2025.
