How do you feel two days after your elimination?

It’s strange to no longer be at the castle because I was locked up there with the same people for three months. But I feel very good because I have finally found my loved ones.

Are you disappointed not to qualify for the final?

Yes, I feel a little disappointed. But I put things into perspective by telling myself that I didn’t think I would stay more than a week at the castle and I have almost reached the end of the adventure. This is already a huge victory!

Did you never imagine yourself winning against Marine?

I had gotten used to the idea that I might be going to the final, which is normal at this stage of the adventure. But Marine scared me because she has an incredible voice. I also felt that she was very popular with the public.

What state of mind were you and Marine in before the semi-final?

We weren’t in the competition at all. We just told ourselves that we both wanted to enjoy this moment because we weren’t going to sing together again for a long time. We wanted people to see two singers singing together rather than two people trying to eliminate the other.

Many Star Academy fans were annoyed by Marine’s calls for a vote. Did it bother you personally?

Absolutely not! I also called for votes when I appeared in front of the cameras. That was part of the game or we joked about it.

What did you learn at Star Academy?

I had never taken singing lessons before arriving at Star Academy. So I learned a lot technically, in particular thanks to Sofia Morgavi (editor’s note: the singing teacher) who took time to explain to me how to position my voice. I also grew humanly. I was a baby when I arrived at the castle. I feel taller today.

How does this maturity manifest itself?

I feel much more calm. At the start of the adventure, I was a little crazy with Noah and Thomas. We did anything at night. I quickly realized that I couldn’t not sleep and that I needed to calm down.

You were one of the youngest students in this class of 2024. Did you feel a gap with your classmates who were older than you?

Yes, I felt a disconnect with community life. I was messy and it pissed off more than one person (Laughs). People made small comments to me which I took into account, and there were clarifications on storage, cleaning, etc. It made me grow up being around older people.

Do you understand that there were rumors surrounding your relationship with Ebony?

No, Ebony and I were a little surprised when Maxime Gasteuil revealed the existence of these rumors to us because we are just friends. We didn’t take it badly, it rather made us laugh. We didn’t talk much with Ebony at the start of the adventure because there were 15 of us at the castle. We grew closer by force of circumstances because there were fewer and fewer of us as the weeks went by, and we were able to create affinities with everyone.

Do you have any regrets about your adventure?

When I was at the castle, I complained because I thought it was too long. Now that I’m out of it, I tell myself that I could have enjoyed it more. I think I’m not the only one who feels this way.

What was the hardest for you?

Distance from loved ones. I managed the lack thanks to my friends, Noah and Ulysses. They were there for me when things weren’t going well.

What is your best memory?

My assessment with Noah on the song Besides. Something very emotional happened at that moment. We both got shivers at the same time when we sang. It was magical. The teachers felt it too.

And the worst?

Noah’s elimination. It was horrible because I lost my pillar. I found myself alone overnight. That’s when Ulysses took over! The night Noah was eliminated, he told me he would be there for me if I needed him.

Before the Star Academy, you studied horse racing business management at the Kernilien high school in Guingamp. Has singing replaced your passion for horse riding?

My first passion will always be horse riding. In any case, there is no question for me of stopping horse riding to devote myself to singing. I would love to be able to do both 100%: sing and be with the horses.

Who do you think will win Star Academy?

I think Marine will win the Star Ac. I realized that she had every chance when I worked with her for the semi-final bonus. And she’s also the one I want to see win because she deserves it.
