As the flames continue to ravage a large part of the City of Angels, taking away several stars’ homes, actress Jennifer Garner broke the silence to share terrible news on this subject.

Los Angeles goes up in smoke. For the past week, terrible fires have been ravaging southern California and, more specifically, the Pacific Palisades neighborhood in Los Angeles. This opulent place was home to many celebrity homes, reduced to ashes by the passage of flames. Mel Gibson, Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, and even singer Patrick Bruel lost their homes. “The only assurance to which we cannot subscribe is that of emotion, of memories, of objects, of perfumes… and of the silences which surrounded this house which goes up in smoke”, wrote the artist with pain on his Instagram account. A spectator of this sad event, Jennifer Garner, for her part, revealed that she had lost a friend in this catastrophe which left an entire country in mourning.
