Born in 1955, Jean-Michel Dupuis was a French actor notable for his diverse career in film, theater and television. After studying at the Conservatoire de Rouen, then Paris, he distinguished himself in major theatrical productionsbefore gaining fame with notable roles in films such as The Boomby Claude Pinoteau (1980) or Thank you life by Bertrand Blier (1991). His career also extends to television.where he appears in popular series like The judge is a woman, Malone or even Host family.
Jean-Michel Dupuis will be remembered as a true figure of the theatre. Among the many plays that can be added to his biography, we will note his presence in the room The First Nameby Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de La Patellière, with Patrick Bruel. He had been nominated six times in the best supporting actor category during the Molières.

Following the announcement of the death of Jean-Michel Dupuis, Rachida Dati, the resigning Minister of Culture, issued a statement: “I learned with sadness of the death of Jean-Michel Dupuis, at the age of 69. His face was well known to the French for his many supporting roles in cinema, television and theater. Trained at the Conservatories of Rouen and Paris, Jean-Michel Dupuis began his career as an actor and comedian in the 1970s. Appearing in films by Claude Lelouch, Claude Pinoteau, Edouard Molinaro and Bertrand Blier. Often used in television productions, he was also a faithful actor in the theater. He had thus participated in the creation of First name (2010) by Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patellière, directed by Bernard Murat. I extend my condolences to his family and loved ones.“
