A new title revealed
Announced for February 14, the best-of “Pierre Bachelet – The great classics” will bring together the artist's greatest songs: “Emmanuelle”, “Pleure pas boulou”, “Embrasse la”… to name but a few. Ten cult titles will be rediscovered and that's not all, since a new song, called “Frérot (retrouvailles)”, will be discovered on the very last track. “ A version of the song “Frérot (retrouvailles)” had been recorded by Pierre Bachelet who had confided to his sound engineer that he was reserving it for a future project. It therefore took a little over 20 years for this song, finally finalized, to reach the fans. », Explains Sony Music in its press release.
Note that the album will be available on vinyl, in a CD and DVD pack, or in digital format. On this famous DVD, we can rediscover several restored clips of the singer, as well as some of his performances on stage. 14 clips (“Les corons”, “Elle est d'ailleurs”…) and nine concert extracts are made available to the artist's fans, for a great nostalgia session. Fans of Pierre Bachelet will also be able to rediscover, this same February 14, the reissue of the original soundtrack of the film “Gwendoline” at Music On Vinyl. The artist had in fact participated in the development of the soundtrack for this film by Just Jaeckin, a director with whom he has collaborated on numerous occasions, notably on “Emmanuelle”. Enough to remember this great artist, with an impressive discography.
