It is thanks to my sons that I wake up with the determination, the desire and the joy of living. During my separation from with his dad, I would have collapsed without Gianni, I wouldn’t have been able to bounce back so quickly. He gave me the strength. Being a mom is the most beautiful thing that could happen to me. lucky that I have and emotions that motherhood provides”.
Rachel Legrain-Trapani discusses a taboo subject
Friday January 10, Gianni and Andrea’s mother decided to discuss a sometimes taboo subject. “It’s time. It is time for spontaneous pregnancy loss (miscarriages) to finally be recognized, respected, and taken care of with the dignity they deserve. It is time that we stop minimizing this pain, ignoring this upheaval, reducing this event to a ‘simple accident’.”we could read on a publication that she shared in a story. She could have stopped at this publication but wanted to provide her testimony on the pain of facing a miscarriage.
The former Miss France criticizes the lack of consideration
“I will always remember my miscarriage before getting pregnant with Andrea, we were in the emergency waiting room of the maternity ward to see what was happening, I was bleeding”she began to say. Then to recount with regret: “After taking a blood test to check my heg level, the gynecologist on duty did not see me to explain to me what was happening”. Valentin Léonard’s wife then concluded with pain on the fact that no tact or support had been given to her to tell her that she had had a miscarriage. “A midwife just said to me in the waiting room: ‘well, you’ve had a miscarriage, you can go home’”she remembered.
On the public life website, it is recalled that the Law of July 7, 2023 now establishes “several measures to support women after miscarriage. A scourge that affects and traumatizes 200,000 women in France every year… On this same site, we learn that “The primary objective of the law is to promote psychological support for women who have suffered a miscarriage”. She should “allow midwives to refer patients as part of the ‘My Psy Journey’ system in all situations where this seems necessary: miscarriage, pregnancy, post-delivery depression. The partner of a patient who has suffered a miscarriage layer can also be addressed to this device”.
