This winter, we will follow the adventure of a whole new cohort of young artists with the launch of the new edition of Star Academy. For the occasion, the winners of previous editions shared some memories and some advice with the new candidates. Who better than these ex-participants of the television competition to go back in time? Here are their testimonies.
During the 2025 edition, it is the singer Garou who will be the director of the Academy, Lara Fabian who will be the godmother, Véronic DiCaire who will become the singing teacher, the singer Pierre Lapointe who will be the music teacher and the singer and ex-academician Émily Bégin who will play the role of sports and dance teacher.
Singer-songwriter Antoine Gratton was chosen as musical director of Variété du Dimanche, the direction was entrusted to Joël Legendre, Marie-Eve Riverin will provide vocal direction and Maud St-Germain will take care of the choreography.
It’s in the show On the way to Star Academy that we will finally be able to know who the next Academicians will be. In addition, for the first time this year, the Maison des Académiciens will be located in the heart of Montreal and its vibrant cultural life.
