The public prosecutor requested an 18-month suspended prison sentence and a 10,000 euro fine against Stéphane Plaza. The latter is awaiting judgment at the time his lines are written. A final sentence which will be rendered on February 18. Despite the initial conclusions, one of the 54-year-old businessman’s lawyers was rather confident, indicating as he left the court: “The fact that [le parquet réclame] 18 months in prison, with a simple suspended sentence, and a fine of 10,000 euros, is, for me, not not really indicative of an awareness that Mr. Plaza is really the author, is really guilty of the facts with which he is accused. And we tried, during our pleading, that there were obvious things that had not been taken into account, and I think that this will actually make us think and tip the court towards a decision that is the most equitable.”I hope Carlo Alberto Brusa.
