The Prince of Wales wrote a touching message to his wife on social media. Kate Middleton turned 43 on January 9 (25).
Prince William publicly wished his wife, the Princess of Wales, a happy birthday.
Catherine Middleton turned 43 on January 9, and King Charles III’s son paid tribute to her on social media. Prince Harry’s brother posted a never-before-seen photo of his wife in black and white, accompanied by an emotional caption.
“To the most incredible wife and mother,” he said. “The strength you have shown over the past year has been remarkable. George, Charlotte, Louis and I are so proud of you. Happy birthday, Kathryn. We love you. W.”
The photo was taken by royal photographer Matt Porteous in Windsor last summer.
Kate Middleton has had a tumultuous 2024. After undergoing scheduled abdominal surgery in January last year, she revealed in March, amid wild rumors about her, that she had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment. She then remained discreet for much of the year. In September, she released a statement saying she had completed her chemotherapy treatment, but was taking her time to recover.
“Doing what I can to prevent cancer from returning is my priority now,” she said in a video message. “Although chemotherapy is over, the road to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”
King Charles III and Queen Camilla also posted a happy birthday message on their Instagram Stories, and the bells of Westminster Abbey tolled in honor of the Princess of Wales.
