The opportunity to take an interest in the singer, in particular in this anecdote that he told in the podcast of Bliss Storieswhich concerns a classmate, named Mélanie, who broke his heart when he was 14 years old.
“I had my moped, so when I was 14, I went to see Mélanie. I had a little paper in my pocket, and I rang his parents’ doorbell. She comes to the gate, there are no more words coming out obviously, and I do this: I take this mini-paper, and I give it to her. On this paper, I wrote something like ‘I loved you, I love you and I will love you’. And then she said to me ‘No, but Julien, I prefer that we remain friends, really…’ Knowing we’re not even friends!”
But the story doesn’t end there, since following this interview, the main interested party sent a message to the Bliss stories Instagram account. “Hello, I’m the Mélanie from Julien’s anecdote… Very good career and a lot of talent. I attended a concert in Narbonne. A beautiful soul and a true artist… You can pass it on to him“. In another text where Mélanie addresses the singer directly, she apologizes for this moment of embarrassment: “Sorry, I certainly lacked tact or empathy… We were 14 years old. For my part, I was very touched by the approach and I didn’t know how to react because I didn’t share the same feelings at the time..”
