“Merchant of hate”: Comedian Jason Brokerss reframes Pascal Praud after his shocking tribute to Jean-Marie Le Pen

Jean-Marie Le Pen, founder of the National Front (FN) and central figure in the French political landscape for more than fifty years, died at the age of 96 in Garches (Hauts-de-Seine), in an establishment where he had been admitted several weeks ago. “Jean-Marie Le Pen, surrounded by his family, was called back to God this Tuesday at 12 p.m.”his family told AFP. Wednesday January 8, in his editorial opening the show “L’Heure des Pros” on CNEWS, the columnist launched without any measure: “Jean-Marie Le Pen said, when no one was saying it yet, that Islam would change the face of . Angry, the latter posted a message on X, former Twitter, in order to share his thoughts. He spoke directly to Pascal Praud in response to a video publication from Europe 1 in which the host made his controversial remarks. “You see what we were telling you. First the danger was terrorism, then jihadism, then extremism and other radicalism, today the danger is just Islam. The real danger of This country is made up of hate mongers like you Pascal Praud, you idiot, arsonist firefighter who doesn’t think further than the end of his old mouth.”he wrote. In comments on his speech, many Internet users validated his remarks and one Twitter user commented ironically: “Le Pen, a whistleblower, I didn’t see that one coming”.
