“A prison”: Dany Brillant and Nathalie Moury, why don’t they live together?

The appointment is set! On February 9, Dany Brillant will make his comeback on stage at the Théâtre du Casino Barrière . After three years of absencethe 59-year-old artist made the decision to find his audience and once again share his passion for music.

For the occasion, he recently gave a long interview to our colleagues at the magazine Gala (to be found on newsstands this Thursday, January 9, 2025).

A first for Dany Brillant

During this interview, the singer opened the doors to his privacy. For the first time, he posed with his children : Leah, Dean and Lino.

Léah, my eldest, owes her first name to one of my favorite Italian actresses, Léa Massari. I had it in my twenties, I was a young dad. She brought him luck. She’s a bit like my guardian angel, very protective of me. She is a videographer, former cinematographer and now works in marketing for the Toronto International Film Festival. As for Lino and Dean, born from my love affair with Nathalie, they are still in middle school, in 3rd and 5th grade. They were named in homage to two of my masters, Lino Ventura and Dean Martin. I tell myself that, in the first names, there is always a bit of the energy of these people. Lino is the reassuring side, patriarch. Even if, among my sons, Lino is more artistic than Dean, very rigorous and orderly. I can see him doing business later!“, he confided before talking about his love story with his partner.

A couple united, but separated

Together for 16 years, Daniel Cohen, his real name, and Nathalie Moury have gone through “ups and downs“, but their relationship has clearly stood the test of time.”We argue like all couples, but we’re still close“, revealed Dany Brillant. “The problem is the entourage who keeps up the bickering. When you have a wife, it’s better to be good friends with your friends…

Although a couple for many years, Dany Brillant and his wife live miles apart, he in and she in Brussels. Despite this distance, the artist remains hopeful that his sweetheart will eventually join him in : “I want to have my family around me again, to be in exchange, sharing. For a long time, I cherished my solitude, but now it weighs on me. I thought that the family was a prison, a place of neurosis, whereas it is a strength.” Touching confidences.
