During an interview, Ulysses looked back on key moments of his adventure at the Star Academynotably on his ambiguous relationship with Marine and the complications linked to his separation from his partner, Lilly.
Since their meeting at the castle of Star Academythe relationship between Marine and Ulysses has continued to arouse the interest of viewers. Living together for weeks can quickly create strong bonds, and this duo is a perfect example. Their friendship, marked by a dog and cat dynamic, thrilled fans. Despite everything, Ulysses, very attached to his companion outside of the adventure, tried to preserve his relationship as best as possible by setting clear limits. However, this desire to protect his relationship sometimes complicated his understanding with Marine, particularly during a duet which required strong chemistry. Visibly embarrassed, Ulysses had made the performance less convincing, which had greatly disappointed his comrade. Like all the recently eliminated students, Ulysse took part in the interview game on TF1+, the opportunity for the young Marseillais to re-establish certain truths.

Ulysse took advantage of this interview with Alix Grousset to look back on significant moments in his career, but also to react to his sometimes ambiguous relationship with Marine. By joining the Star Academy, Ulysses had not anticipated the extent of the ordeal that separation from his partner Lily would represent.a relationship that was still recent at the time. “We knew it was going to be difficult. We told ourselves that if we could get through this, we could get through anything. Being separated from the person you love for three months and only being able to call them for a minute is ‘is hard’he confides. Despite the difficulties encountered, the reunion between Lilly and Ulysses was full of emotion. However, the experience was not easy for his girlfriend, who saw her partner evolve from an outside point of view.

“I was lucky enough to be protected. But she saw everything that was happening in the castle. It wasn’t easy for her”confides Ulysse who had strongly advised Lily not to watch the program too much before leaving her for many weeks. “Impossible. She was on the live show all the time!”he says, before returning to this famous song shared with Marine in which he had difficulty projecting himself. “At the beginning, it wasn’t complicated… I met everyone and played the game seriously. We were given quite a few love songs to perform with Marine. I put myself in my girlfriend’s place, it would piss me off so much! The painting where she was in a wedding dress, in real life, disturbed me a lot, made me very embarrassed to interpret.“, admits the young man. “With hindsight, it’s true that I should have taken it upon myself. It’s only a picture, but I wasn’t sure at the time.”
