Still at the helm of “Touche pas à mon poste” on C8, even if the channel will soon close by decision of ARCOM and the Council of State, Cyril Hanouna has received countless personalities over the years. But only one name is banned from the list of potential guests in his eyes, and he explained why…
Is this the end of “Touche pas à mon poste”? No one really knows. A must-see show, as loved as it is hated, for more than 10 years now, “TPMP” could suffer the full brunt of C8's shutdown, despite the channel's excellent audience performance. It is rumored that the program could continue on CSTAR, another channel of the Canal+ group, but nothing is less certain.
Whatever happens, Hanouna will have been the host of many cult moments, for better and for worse. An advocate of free and liberated speech, the PAF star received almost everyone on his set. But a very particular name should never be invited by the fifty-year-old.
The star blacklisted by Cyril Hanouna in TPMP
Speaking on RTL, Hanouna was firmly opposed to the possible arrival of comedian Dieudonné:
Today there is one who crossed over, who went completely to the other side and who made unacceptable comments, it is Dieudonné. Dieudonné, I think that's it, it's too late, I can't invite him anymore. He made anti-Semitic remarks, he made incredible comments about History, which greatly disturb me. I can't anymore. I can't invite him. Otherwise, I don't have anyone where I say to myself: “Here I can't invite him.”

Note that in 2023, when Dieudonné published a letter of apology to the Jewish community, Hanouna received his lawyer to discuss the subject – but not the main person concerned.
Furthermore, it is interesting to note that during this interview dated 2021, Hanouna was rather critical of hard-right figures, such as Eric Zemmour and Marine Le Pen.
Surprising comments considering the last 3 years, during which the PAF star was accused of giving pride of place to their ideas on his set:
I said one day: “I will never receive Marine Le Pen, I will never receive Eric Zemmour”. Today I moved. I changed my mind because I think that before I was not at all equipped to receive them, that the team I had around me was not equipped to receive them. Today I have a battery of people who may be at odds with them. Which can lead to contradictions.
And I changed my mind on that, because I tell myself that on the contrary, I prefer to confront them with their contradictions rather than let them express themselves on social networks without opposing them in front of the camera.
Dieudonné is the only potential guest who is off limits according to Cyril Hanouna, at least when the question was asked to him in 2021. It remains to be seen whether “Baba”, as his fans call him, will once again change his mind on this subject. , or if Elie Semoun's former sidekick will indeed remain banned from the C8 set.
