Apple’s very clear response
But this is not the case, as Apple explained via its Instagram account this Monday, January 6: “I would like to clarify a situation regarding a potential use of my song Soleil Soleil, on Kanye West’s next project. I do not know the source of the video and audio content circulating these days on the networks, but I never gave my agreement to the use of this sample for reasons that seem obvious to me, being in deep disagreement with the positions and policies of this artist (notably accused ofanti-Semitismeditor’s note) whom I have admired greatly in the past.“
