Concretely, he intends to take part in his fifth Vendée Globe in 2028, aboard a revolutionary boat. “In 2028, I will set off in my 5th Vendée Globe aboard a unique racing sailboat in the world… made of wood, bamboo and natural fibers.”he had previously indicated on his Instagram account. “Imagine a boat made of natural fibers, efficient and with a low carbon footprint. Yes, it’s possible! I have raced the Vendée Globe four times, a total and very intense adventure. For the 2028 Vendée Globe, I want to create a new story“, he also added.
