Louis Durand (Louis D) from Ain, and Louis Collet-Goeury, from Moselle, made an impression during their participation in The Voice Kids on TF1. Both were members of Claudio Capéo’s team.
If the first lost in the semi-final, his friend made it to the final which he unfortunately lost despite a very good performance. This adventure gave birth to a beautiful friendship which also brought their families closer together. So, for this last weekend of the Christmas holidays, Louis and his parents were welcomed in Replonges by Alexandra and Jean-Charles, the parents of Louis D. Everyone took pleasure in meeting up and reliving together the highlights of the show. The two families had not seen each other since October, when Louis D and his mother went to Paris to support Louis during the final.
“We agreed on a lot of subjects”
Despite the competition, the two boys quickly bonded. Their common passion for singing, their similar age as well as their open and sociable character, facilitated this bond. “We agreed on a lot of subjects” underlines Louis D. The two say they are proud to have reached this stage of the competition and have extraordinary memories of this experience which, they say “allowed them to gain confidence and ease. on stage.”
Making song their profession
Today, everyone has returned to their high school but their passion for music remains intact and they share the same dream: to make singing their profession. Also, they are determined to persevere and, above all, not to be forgotten.
