A new squabble on social networks has fueled the rivalry between Davido and Burna Boy for several hours.
The two artists, true ambassadors of Afrobeat and Nigerian music, have been at odds for several years, although in the past they had distinguished themselves by their closeness.
In this cold climate between the two stars, Cubana Chief Priest, Davido’s great friend and patron of the latter, recently chose to make a controversial publication on X.
“Let’s be honest, Davido played a big role in exporting Nigerian music. He paved the way for many other artists like Wizkid and Burna Boy”posted Cubana on X.
A message which greatly annoyed certain fans of the two artists mentioned, but also Burna Boy who was quick to respond to the patron via a post on Instagram, identifying him under the name “Rick Ross from Owerri (city in Nigeria editor’s note)”, due to its weight.
The singer of the title « On The Low » then advised Chief Priest to focus on his family, which is far from being sheltered from all needs, despite his excessive desire to flaunt his possessions on the web.
The star has now shared a video of the patron’s little brother, in which we see the youngster calling his big brother for help for financial support.
New Offensive Claims Against Burna Boy
One attack too many for Cubana Chief Priest who hastened to multiply attacks against Burna Boy through a series of story posts on his Instagram account.
In one of his posts, he also indulged in the rumors that Burna Boy had slept with P.Diddy to win the Grammy Awards trophy.
“You bowed down to P.Diddy to get your Grammy Award. Your trophy is oil induced. Despite your supposed success, you struggle to be happy and you want to make others suffer your discomfort”we read in one of the publications.
