Arthur was this morning the guest of the TF1 morning show, presented exceptionally by Christophe Beaugrand. End of year celebrations oblige, Bruce Toussaint's replacement takes over during the host's holidays. It is therefore with a brand new team of columnists that viewers wake up to every morning.
Far from working in a heavy atmosphere, good humor seemed to reign on the set. In addition to the usual sections, we had the pleasure of discovering the mascot of the replacement host. A horrible little stuffed cat that plays Christmas tunes in a noise closer to squeaking than to melody. The presenter's colleagues have also indicated that they can no longer do so.
Arthur looks back on his radio debut
After discussing his news with Arthur, The big theme of the day quickly arrived: New Year’s Eve.. Mareva Galanter's husband indicated that everything was already planned on his side. A dinner with friends, mixing Christmas and Hanukkah. Twice as many gifts therefore for the greatest pleasure of children according to the famous host.
Christophe Beaugrand will then throw a little dig at Arthur telling him that he would also be on call tomorrow morning, Christmas Day. Far from being taken aback, Arthur then wanted to remind him that for many years, he too had worked every Christmas morning. « As I was the only Jew on the radioit was always me who worked. I did Christmas morning for 20 years.”
A strict dad with his children
So Arthur will wake up tomorrow morning and being able to enjoy your whole little family. His radio debut is now far behind him. He also spoke about his children in a recent interview given to 50’ Inside. He is in fact the happy father of three children, including a nine-year-old daughter he had with the former Miss France. He explained that he was much less funny in life than on screen. But to compensate this rigor, he put in place a rather original ritual with them.
“As I am a fairly strict person, less fun at home than in life, they have the right to one week per year which is called the week of yes. They are the ones who decide where I should go, with them, and I don't have the right to say no. So it could be finding myself in an amusement park in Florida, in a swimsuit with full screen and plastic shoes and a buoy, to go slides for five days, and eat burgers ». A week probably even more anticipated than Christmas by the host's children.
