On Princess Dowager Marianne's birthday, in addition to Peter's engagement, another piece of good news was on everyone's lips: the birth of Prince Casimir's first daughter. Prince Casimir, father of three sons, became the father of a first daughter, Princess Anunciata, born December 1, 2024.

Prince Casimir is certainly the most publicized prince of the Sayn-Wittgenstein family, due to his first marriage. In 1999, Prince Casimir married Corinna Larsen, a German-Danish businesswoman, today known publicly as Corinna of Sayn-Wittgenstein. Corinna still uses the name of the princely family despite her divorce in 2005. The couple had a son, Alexander, born in 2002. Corinna de Sayn-Wittgenstein is known worldwide for her nearly eight-year relationship with King Juan Carlos of Spain and his son Alexander grew up very close to the former Spanish ruler.
