Fans of the Star Academy clearly have had enough. Since the start of season 12, many people have expressed their weariness with the current programming, particularly the daily one which, according to them, lack of dynamism and action.
Viewers seem to get tired of following the students in moments as non-exciting as their naps or their moments of relaxation. This is not the first time that criticism has come, but a recent post on TikTok adds fuel to the fire.
Star Academy: a plan-plan season
TikTok account @troncat49 shared a video that perfectly captures fans' growing boredom. In this publication, the author denounces the content of the daily newspapers, described as too focused on the candidates' moments of rest.
For many, the magic of Star Academy is found in the intensity of live performances and competitive moments, but the latter are less and less present in daily broadcasts.
“We piss each other off“, @troncat49 was indignant. “I had already mentioned this subject at the start of the season: the students of season 12 are more studious than those of season 11. They are much more serious. They sleep a lot more, they shut up immediately when their voice hurts, they do vocal warming on their own, they blow bubbles and they use inhalers… All that is very good. It shows that they are professionals and that they follow all the advice they received, but in the end, it means that the lights went out at 11 p.m. even though the live was supposed to end around 1:30 a.m.“.
An expected change
“For me, one of the big differences between season 11 and season 12 is that there are no real pairs. They all get along more or less well, but there were no friendly crushes. The only exception is perhaps Franck and Ebony.
