Traveling with his wife Camilla in Walthamstow, in the east of the British capital, King Charles III, 76-year-old sovereign, questioned by a representative of the Sikh religion who asked him how he was, took out the card from the humor. “I’m still alive!”, he replied.
The king has been treated since February for cancer, the nature of which has never been made public. The health of the royal family has been the center of attention this year, following the announcements of King Charles III's cancer and, in March, that of Princess Kate. The wife of Prince William, the heir to the throne, revealed in September that she had completed chemotherapy. Charles III continues his treatment, on which no details have been provided either.
The king, however, resumed his commitments at the end of April, two and a half months after the announcement of his cancer. And, in October, he resumed his travels abroad, making an 11-day trip to Australia and Samoa for the Commonwealth summit, in the company of his wife Camilla, and taking a break from his treatment. After returning from this trip, Camilla suffered from a form of viral pneumonia.
