Tribute to Isak Andic
While reconnecting with her first loves, the queen also paid tribute to a brand that has accompanied her publicly since her arrival in the Spanish royal family 20 years ago: Mango. The ready-to-wear brand born in Barcelona in 1984 has indeed been in mourning since December 14, 2024 by the death of its founder, Isak Andic, who disappeared in a hiking accident.
If Letizia regularly wears creations from the brand, it is rare that she wears a complete look. However, this is what the queen chose to do this Tuesday, wearing a long black coat from Mango as well as a gray pantsuit also from Mango. The only standouts were her usual Carolina Herrera bag and her Singularu earrings. A discreet but obvious way for the queen to show her support for the brand which is now wondering about its future.
“A photobomb”: the greeting card from the Spanish royal family provokes reactions
Despite this tribute to a deceased person, the queen still presented a joyful face to the public, not hesitating to shake hands and take photos with the crowd who came to greet her, whether they were children came with drawings or from elderly people.
