For several days, Yseult has been the talk of the town. Indeed, the one who made herself known to the general public by participating in The New Star in 2013, spoke on his X account to make a violent rant which sparked a strong reaction.
The 30-year-old artist expressed his disappointment over the “failure” of his latest album, Mentalreleased on September 20, 2024. Saddened by the reception received for her new project, the young singer did not mince her words on her social networks.
Yseult’s rant
“Mental is one of the best projects released in France this year”she said at first before becoming much more virulent afterwards: “Those who disagree, choke.” But Yseult doesn’t stop there.
Indeed, still on X, the 30-year-old artist railed again: “I can’t believe that people are sleeping on a project like Mental, it’s very serious.” “Could you give me an example of a similar project in France? I’m serious, because the way you’re snoring on this project is hot.”she added, still as disappointed.
A speech which earned him numerous criticisms. Fortunately, Yseult can count on the support of the son of a huge French star: Claude François. Indeed, although he did not react to the recent controversy concerning Yseult, Claude François Junior gave an interview to Point of view not long ago.
Claude François Junior validates his performance at the Paris Olympics
The opportunity for him to return to the performance of the ex-candidate of The New Star at the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. A ceremony during which she regained the title My Way. A title popularized by Frank Sinatra in 1969, and adapted from the essential hit As per usual by Claude François. According to his statements to our colleagues, Claude François’ son was charmed.
“It was a very nice conclusion. In addition to giving it a place of honor, the IOC chose the ideal moment to highlight it. The symbolism was perfect, especially in relation to the history of music itself. An obvious link between France and the United States. Yseult, alone on stage, added a theatrical side to the interpretation”he assured, proudly.
However, he regrets the fact that the fireworks were set off “perhaps a little too early, when his voice [celle d’Yseult] flies away at the very end”. A detail which takes nothing away from the beautiful performance of the 30-year-old artist.
