Departures: A chapter that turns
Gino Chouinard: After 25 years of animation, he says goodbye

It is with emotion that Gino Chouinard left Hi Hello in June 2024 after more than 25 years in animation. A true figurehead of the show, Gino has left his mark on several generations of viewers with his humor, his warm personality and his boundless energy. His departure was a significant moment for the show, but he did not disappear from the screens. Indeed, Gino surprised everyone by appearing on the show Masked Singers under the banana costume, before making a new foray into Get me out of herewhere he will be one of the 10 campers for the next season. Gino therefore continues to bring his humor and charisma, but from new angles.
Jean-Michel Bourque: New challenges and more time for his family

After many years as a sports columnist on Hi Hello, Jean-Michel Bourque announced his departure in August 2024. His decision was carefully considered: Jean-Michel wanted to take on new professional challenges while having more time to enjoy his family, especially his three adorable boys. Jean-Michel was an integral part of the team Hi Hello for many years, particularly in the weekend segment in Quebec, and he will remain a familiar face to viewers. We wish him all the best for the future in his new role at the helm. Quebec in the Morning!
Suzy: The welcoming voice of Hi Hello says goodbye after 36 years

Suzythe essential attendant at the reception of Hi Helloalso said goodbye in 2024 after 36 years of service. Suzy was the driving force behind the show’s reception, making sure every guest felt welcome before stepping in front of the cameras. With her smile and good humor, she had the opportunity to work with all the personalities who appeared on the show: singers, politicians, actors, and of course, regular collaborators. Suzy has become a familiar face to viewers and an iconic figure in Shi Hello.

Élie Duquet: The new face of sports

It is Elie Duquet who took over from Jean-Michel Bourque in sports in August 2024. After having proven himself in Sherbrooke and Quebec in the TVA media universe, Élie has become an essential face in the field of sports journalism. His experience at Quebec Journal and television news, as well as his passion for sports, make him a perfect choice for this role. His arrival promises new perspectives on the world of sports and to add even more dynamism to the show’s sports segments.
Geneviève O’Gleman and Vincent Dion-Lavallée: New chefs in the kitchen brigade

The culinary field also saw new recruits this year. Genevieve O’Gleman et Vincent Dion-Lavallée joined the team of Hi Hello in 2024 to enrich the cooking segments of the show. Both renowned chefs, they bring their expertise and their passion for gastronomy. Geneviève, known for her healthy and tasty recipes, and Vincent, a talented chef who is both creative and accessible, come to strengthen the team with new ideas and practical advice. Together, they add a tasty and original touch to the show.
Richard Turcotte: the captain of the weekend

Human, attentive and truly endearing, he has proven his talent for animation and his well-deserved place in the Salut Bonjour team. Richard Turcotte took part in the game throughout the summer period, whether by preparing a Friday recipe, participating in funny team photos or bringing his lively attitude which livened up the set. He then took the road to Quebec where, since September, he has been serving as captain for the weekend version.
