François Alu joins “Les Grosses Têtes” on RTL when he has just become a father in the South of

François Alu is the latest recruit to the famous RTL cultural and humorous show, The Big Heads. The radio show announced the news on Instagram with photos of the dancer behind an on-air microphone and in the company of his new colleagues led by Laurent Ruquier.

The former juror of Dancing with the stars made his debut yesterday alongside other “big heads” Arielle Dombasle, Gérard Jugnot, François Berléand, Isabelle Mergault and Richard Orlinski. “Today, Laurent Ruquier welcomes a new Big Head: the former star dancer of the Opera, François Alu,” we can read in the caption of the post shared yesterday on Instagram.

Between Paris and the South

A new cap which seems to delight the main interested party, but raises questions about how the artist plans to organize his schedule and his trips between Paris, where the RTL studios are based, and the South of where he settled in with his partner, the dancer Denitsa Ikonomova, and their little girl whose birth they announced last month.

The arrival of François Alu in Laurent Ruquier’s team is all the more surprising since the dancer had made the “complicated decision” a few weeks earlier to “cancel” two dates of his show Completely thrown away! end of December in order to stay with his family. “When we have the happiness and the chance to give life, we redefine ourselves, we also redefine our priorities,” he then explained to his community on Instagram.

“And I admit that having to go to the dance studio to go to work breaks my heart.” In the same message, the artist nevertheless affirmed “working on a project” for next year. It remains to be seen what this new adventure and the coming weeks have in store for him!
