The story took place this Friday, December 13. A man allegedly tried to break into the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys, while the star academicians were in full swing.
It was Gilles Verdez who revealed it during the Big Doss section of the show Don’t touch my post. On the evening of Friday, December 13, while the students were singing wildly to defend their place in the adventure, a man entered the castle of La Star Academy around 8 p.m. According to Gilles Verdez, the man would be a thirty-year-old man, obviously without any criminal record. Thanks to the surveillance system and security agents, the man was arrested very quickly.
An intrusion for what reason?
The arrestee’s motivations are not completely clear, but it seems that the heart of this attempt is linked to theft. Gilles Verdez explains that, after viewing the video surveillance cameras, the production discovered that the man had been lurking around the castle for several days. He would probably have taken the opportunity of the bonus, scheduled for a Friday rather than a Saturday, the election of Miss France obliging, to take action. The production intends to file a complaint, at least to “mark the occasion” and deter other potential thieves, as Gilles Verdez explains.
Intrusions, a habit for the show
If this season, every day went by without a security alert being triggered, that has not always been the case in the history of the show. Gilles Verdez reports that in 2004, an incident took place, triggering a red alert. In fact, a man had managed to enter the castle and was intercepted at the door of singer Magalie Vaé’s room. An incident which had decided production to apply a reinforced security system.
