Karin Viard gives her news after her scary skiing accident

Almost 3 years after the death of Gaspard Ulliel, the news of head trauma of actress Karin Viardon the sidelines of the Les Arcs festival, shocked the fans.

This December 15, 2024, the actress of “Policies” et “The Aries family” shared a terrible announcement on the Web. Revealing a video of her, lying on a stretcher and surrounded by rescuers, she wrote: “And head trauma after 1 minute of skiing! It’s called talent!!!!”

The Gaspard Ulliel case still in people’s minds

Enough to make fans jump on social networks. And for good reason, no one has forgotten how, in January 2022, the actor Gaspard Ulliel had been victim of head trauma after a collision without a helmet with another skier at the junction of two slopes.

At the time, he was transported to the intensive care unit of the Grenoble-Alpes University Hospital, in La Tronche. Unfortunately, he arrived brain dead and his death was finally announced twenty-four hours later, at the age of 37. He had a son, Orso, aged 6, the fruit of his love affair with Gaëlle Pietri, from whom he was separated.

This is why the public waited so impatiently to know how Karin Viard is doing. This December 16, 2024, she therefore wrote a note on Instagram, to reassure her followers. The 58-year-old star assured: “I’m back!!! Everything is fine and I can once again enjoy the great cinema selection at the Les Arcs festival. Thank you for your messages. More fear than harm”.

Fortunately, this mountain getaway will not have spoiled the party, at altitude. Karin Viard is this year’s guest of honor at the Les Arcs film festival. Since her arrival in the resort, she has also inaugurated a slope in her name, on the famous “Slope of fame” (it is inspired by the Hollywood “Walk of Fame”, but on a ski slope).
