In her latest clip, “Defal Ni Ñun (Xarit)”, by Ndakhté Lo, the artist, under fire from critics, is considered “too provocative”. The “Glow up” singer responds to her detractors in an interview with L’Observateur:

“What people often forget is that we are artists first and foremost. I disagree with those who say that the clip is not appropriate for the theme. In the clip, the dancer: chosen plays the role of my friend. Through our movements, I celebrate this friendship and express my gratitude. The clip offers three musical styles: Salsa, Mbalakh and Rap. »
The dancer asserts: “In the Salsa part, I dance with a man because it would be difficult to perform the choreography with a woman. In the other sequences, I sing, dance and run in the company of the dancer Fatou Sarr. We worked hard on this project and I think we succeeded. But, I accept the criticism and will try to take it into account in the future. »
However, she is quick to add: “To be honest, even a woman who wears jeans reveals her curves. It is nature that shaped me like this, as it has shaped each woman differently. Ndakhté Lo concludes: “Me, I am between these two sizes. When I wear jeans or a bodysuit, it necessarily highlights my curves. And this is the case for all women except those who wear a veil. […].
