YouTuber MrBeast will watch the first episode of his show Beast Games live on Twitch, this Thursday, December 19. He has not organized a live on the platform since 2019.
A long-awaited return. After five years of absence from the platform, American YouTuber MrBeast is back on Twitch. The announcement was made by Twitch via a publication on X, formerly Twitter, this Sunday, December 15.
“MrBeast is coming to Twitch. Mark your calendars for December 19,” launches the platform. He will be hosting his own party on Twitch from his channel to celebrate the launch of Beast Games and he invites everyone to join him.”
3 hours 30 minutes of broadcast
For his first live show in five years, MrBeast therefore chose to broadcast the first episode of Beast Games, his new reality TV show that he is launching on Amazon Prime. In this game, 1,000 candidates compete to obtain the nice jackpot of 5 million dollars. A concept announced by the American YouTuber as the “greatest game show in history”… which has raised numerous controversies.
The series of around ten episodes will be broadcast on Amazon Prime on December 19. To promote the event, MrBeast is therefore offering a viewing party for the first episode, live on Twitch (which belongs to Amazon) on December 19 at 9 p.m. During the 3.5 hours of broadcast, he will be accompanied by the streamer Jynxzi and other “special guests”.
MrBeast last broadcast on his Twitch channel in October 2019. Since then he has appeared in a few lives of other creators, such as with streamer Kai Cenat last July.
But his return seems to divide Internet users. “No thanks,” wrote one user. “No one asked for his return,” adds another. “It’s going to be incredible. Will it be regular?” asks another.
It must be said that the YouTuber and his show have raised numerous controversies. In August, several candidates and team members denounced a lack of hygiene and food during the filming of Beast Games. Since then, five former anonymous candidates have decided to file a complaint on behalf of all participants on September 16 for “chronic mistreatment and sexual harassment”
