Revealed to the general public through the Miss France 2011 election, Laury Thilleman has become an essential presenter on France Télévision. This sports enthusiast, who launched a podcast called How do you do?, will be the new face of the show Rendez-vous en terre stranger. On September 4, 2024, it was on her Instagram account that Laury Thilleman shared the happy news through a video rich in emotion in which Frédéric Lopez asked her to take over from Raphaël de Casabianca.
The latter had explained that he wanted to stop broadcasting the show, Wednesday June 19, 2024, to our colleagues at Le Parisien: “Rendez-vous en terre stranger is intense physically and psychologically and we don't get used to saying goodbye. I was attached to the idea of seeing the people I met again, but I quickly understood that this was simply impossible. It was becoming more and more difficult to manage and, over time, I became more and more fragile, I think. […] We do not emerge from these experiences unscathed. This is true for my guests, but even more so when you experience each trip intensely several times a year.”
If Miss France 2011 felt ready to take on the challenge, it is in particular because she now knows her limits and makes sure to give her all to projects that are really close to her heart.
