Jean-Pierre Foucault will once again be at the helm of the ceremony this year. However, the election recently made headlines by facing certain criticism concerning the 100% female composition of its jury.

“We know the Miss France jury, it’s Sylvie Vartan who will be president of the jury. That, I say bravo,
It's beautiful, it's classy Sylvie Vartan, it's magnificent but they made a 100% female jury. It's unbearable, unbearable! So all these young girls are very nice, I like them a lot but it's unbearable! It's unbearable, it's very woke. Stop pandering to woke culture!”notably launched Cyril Hanouna live on C8.

Miss France 2025: the absence of men on the jury singled out by Cyril Hanouna and Pascal Praud

“When I say excuse me for being a man, I’m a boy, I find that there is a bit of discrimination if you allow me”had also declared Pascal Praud in his daily show on Europe 1. Present in the program that day, Jean-Pierre Foucault was keen to defend the leaders of the Miss France committee against the star host of CNews.

“I think you are wrong. Now, if you insist, I can possibly intervene so that you are part of the jury… But I think you would stand out among all these beautiful young women. (…) I find it quite remarkable. It happened once and the young women who will be on this jury will be able to decide, judge and place a crown on the head of the one who will be Miss France 2025 for a year. It’s not bad, right?”he then indicated.

Frédéric Gilbert: “It was not a decision to make a 100% female jury”

Guest of the Buzz show from Le Figaro on Friday November 13, 2024. The president and CEO of the Miss France company, Frédéric Gilbert, responded to criticism aimed at the Miss France 2025 jury. He notably revealed the reasons why only women have agreed to join the jury this year.

“It was not a decision to make a 100% female jury. We contacted men but I think there is a certain restraint in coming to the jury. With everything that has happened, the #MeToo movement must have played a role. When we contacted the personalities this year, we realized that we had a lot more immediate feedback from women and after the fifth,(…) we went all the way”he explained in particular.
