Kate Middleton is very involved in the Christmas holidays. On December 6, she gave her famous Christmas concert at Westminster Abbey. She was surrounded by her family and more specifically by her husband Prince William and her three children, Charlotte, George and Louis. His sister Pippa and his brother James were also present as were ses parents Carole et Michael Middleton.

Indeed, Darren McGrady, the former royal chef revealed to The Mirror that the women of the royal family have breakfast in the bedroom on December 25 while the men gather in the dining room.

The reason for this tradition has not been revealed but it could be to give ladies more time to prepare before mass. The program is also very busy this morning. Breakfast is served at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. everyone meets at the church of St Mary Magdalene for a religious service. The royal family then returns to Sandringham House and has a drink before moving on to lunch.

Mr McGrady explained how the royal men's Christmas breakfast took place. “The male members of the royal family come down to the dining room for a hearty breakfast at 8:30 a.m. with eggs, bacon and mushrooms, herring and grilled kidneys”, he revealed. On the women's side, the meal is lighter.

“On Christmas Day, ladies usually opt for a light breakfast consisting sliced fruit, half a grapefruit, toast and coffee delivered to their room”, he thus indicated. However, there are plans for a lovely Christmas tea party for all the royal members with tea and cake. “It is a large cake, usually a ginger cake or a honey and cream sponge cake,” thus clarified the former royal leader. So, whether it is December 24 or 25, all meals are very elaborate.
