A few months before her departure for La Tremblade, Mélanie Gonzalez expressed her joy after her son obtained his Road Safety Certificate (BSR). The mother of nine children nevertheless did not hide her concern about this new stage in Hugo's life. “I told him the same rules as Nino, which is to send me a message every time he leaves a place. So there you go, one more on the road”she said in a story posted on Instagram. “Hugo is aware of the danger. He is lucky to be able to do cross-country, so if he wants to let off steam, he knows he can do it on a cross-country field. On the road, we are respectful and we respect the rules.”
