Since Monday August 12, 2024, viewers have been following the adventures of the candidates in the new season of Koh-Lanta, the cursed tribe. In the last episode broadcast on Tuesday, November 26, the adventurers faced each other during
the iconic orientation challenge. The five finalists therefore faced this crucial test with courage and determination. While Thibault was the first to find one of the three daggers, he was later joined by Ilyesse and Charlotte. It was therefore Ugo who was eliminated from the competition.
The grand finale of Koh Lanta will be broadcast this Tuesday, December 3 on TF1. The remaining candidates will compete in the legendary pole test. A test much feared by many adventurers…
The adventurer is very active on social networks
If Ilyesse regularly comments on episodes of
Koh Lanta on Instagram, the young man also spoke behind the scenes of the show. He takes the time to chat with his many subscribers and to recount the significant moments of this exceptional adventure.
A few hours before this episode aired, he took to his TikTok account to take stock. “That's it, we just passed cape: 40 days of adventure“, he first declared. And to continue: “There in a few hours, you will discover the test
the most stressful of my entire adventurethe orientation test. Before getting there, I thought about my entire adventure. I said to myself, 'that's it, you're in the final.'
Ilyesse: “It was going through my head”
On Snapchat, the adventurer spoke about the difficulties encountered during the orientation test. “It was running through my head at that time. When I was looking for [le poignard] in the tall grass was the deadliest place. The grass reached my waist, I had 45 steps to take and each time I moved five or ten centimeters… I was dead in the end
!”, he explained.
The adventurer then shared his anxieties: “We had to search a large area. Plus, knowing that someone was looking for the same thing as me in the same place…
Honestly, it was hot! […] But how happy I was in the end”he continued.
Ilyesse tells an anecdote in Koh-Lanta
After congratulating his comrade, Thibault, for his victory, he revealed a passage which was not filmed by the TF1 cameras. While speaking to his friend, Ilyesse confided: “My brother on the posts! Just a few seconds we were going to meet, I would have loved to meet you my brother. We really could have crossed paths at the orientation table, well done my brother, you’re on the poles!”
In the columns of Ciné Télé Revue, the adventurer also mentioned his return to his parents after the adventure: “When I came back from filming, I didn't go to the hairdresser and barber right away. My parents had a shock to discover myself like that” he explained. And to continue about the difficulty of keeping the secrets of one's participation: “When we watch the show together on TV, they try to tell me about my journey, but I don't reveal anything because I hate spoilers. When I was landed on the cursed island, they were sad for me. Koh-Lanta is even harder than I imagined.”
