Bernard Minet is one of those icons of the 90s who enchanted all the children who grew up during this period. With his troupe of Muscular, they hosted Wednesday afternoons at Club Dorothée. It was indeed the unmissable event for all the kids of that era in the 90s. Thirty years later, he was on the set of TPMP to say a little more about his life since Dorothée Club.
Cyril Hanouna is a child of the 90s. He grew up with Dorothée, Hélène and the boys, Dragon Ball Z and of course the Muscular. This troupe of 5 merry men who sang and acted every week to the delight of young viewers. Bernard Minet unfortunately lost two of his closest traveling companions. A test for someone who has performed many cult songs.
The complicated period of Bernard Minet
Since the cessation of Dorothée ClubTHE Muscular have clearly gone out of fashion. They did not survive the transition to the year 2000 as a group. However, the five members who made up the group continued to exist. Bernard Minet was probably the best known after having been the interpreter of the credits of Dragon Ball Z and Knights of the Zodiac. Two cartoons that have become iconic. Unfortunately for him, he experienced mourning a few years ago losing René Morizur and Claude Chamoiser in quick succession. Two of his friends from Les Muscles.
“There are two who left us too soon, they disappeared. It's René and my Raspberry tree. It's hard in a group like that when you lose 2. Framboisier who was the lead singer of all the songs of Les Muscles. Me, I was doing my credits and he was singing the music of Les Muscles. Even three years after their disappearance, I couldn't watch an episode on TV. It was on AB1 at night. Even the photos are very hard, but everyone who has lost loved ones knows that.”
His special link with Framboisier
Claude Chamoiser, better known as Framboisier, was the other star of Muscular. He was a bit like the leader of the group. With Bernard Minet, they had established a relationship that went well beyond the professional sphere. This is what he explained to Cyril Hanouna. A host very touched to receive one of his youth idols on set. Bernard Minet therefore took the time to tell more in depth about his relationship with Framboisier.
“With Framboisier we were like two brothers. We saw each other in the south all the time in the summer. After the Dorothée club, we had considered doing things together. We continued to make music together because he was a very good director and a very good producer. It was he who produced Matmatah's first 33 rpm record. Cyril Hanouna also admitted to being a great admirer of Framboisier. With these deaths, a whole generation has just become very old.
