In this expanded reissue of the work published in 2000, The Delon Mysteriesthe biographer reveals the alleged bisexuality of the legend of French cinema. Revelations that his sources had asked him to “keep secret until the death of the star”, specified Bernard Violet in The Parisian . If he has not collected any stories of a man having experienced a romance with the famous interpreter of the Cheetah (1963), the writer, who was not close to the actor, collected several similar stories.

“These testimonies agree and make me think that Delon was bisexual, at least during the first thirty years of his life. They overlap and emanate from credible personalities,” he assured in the daily. “A free character with crazy ambition, he lived his bisexuality probably out of taste and also with a hint of careerism. “We have to leave him alone”
Guest Wednesday evening on the show Le Figaro at nightAnthony Delon returned to these latest rumors surrounding his father. “I will answer you,” he began. I'm not going to echo this because that would be a disservice to the person who wrote it. Why would I give him this gift?” And to continue talking about his late father: “He’s gone, we have to leave him alone now, we have to stop with that and with everything else. It is the memory of the dead that we honor, not that of the living. We must leave him in peace. He made history. I want to keep the best, the positive.” An answer which has the merit of being clear.
