“I wanted another life”

On October 8, Télévisions unveiled its new show entitled Our History of France narrated by Tomer Sisley. For the occasion, the one who was the victim of a burglary confided in our colleagues at Tele-Leisure on his role as a father.
“I am a dad who constantly asks himself questions.
I try to do the best I can and, at the same time, I feel like I'm failing at certain things. But that’s the lot of many parents! We grow up with ideals and reality takes us elsewhere. I cherish my children with all my heart but I am probably too permissive. And I weigh my words because it’s not necessarily good!”

Tomer Sisley turned down a big role for his children

For his children, Tomer Sisley also refused to play in
Game of Thrones. A choice he absolutely does not regret. “I will never regret anything I did for them! And I would not hesitate to make the same decision again. I chose to have children, I am responsible for them. They're not furniture.”he explained to begin with.

Subsequently, the one who revealed a crazy anecdote about Jennifer Aniston clarified: I want to see them grow, to participate in their education, to instill values in them. And I couldn't do it if I was filming abroad 12 months a year. Obviously I would have liked to have had a role in Game of Thrones or Skyfall. It would have been extraordinary. But I made a choice, and I accept it.”

Tomer Sisley does not have good memories of his childhood

Tomer Sisley recently visited the set of What an era! on France 2. The actor then shared some secrets about his childhood spent with his mother. A moment that Tomer Sisley doesn't have very good memories of. “I wanted to leave. I wanted another life. I wasn't feeling well. I wasn't lucky enough to have had a particularly maternal mother, and so my early childhood in Berlin wasn't the happiest “he declared at first.

At the age of 9, the actor left his mother to live with his father in the south of France. I owe him so much, starting with my education.
I guess what little courage I have comes from him. My father is 88 years old. He swims at sea every day, whether in summer or winter. He moves, he doesn't let go. This is a great example
“, he confided.

Tomer Sisley owes a lot to his father

Pour -MorningTomer Sisley had already said:
I first stayed with a mother who was not cut out to be a mother. He then returned to the moment when his father came to pick him up to bring him to France. Few fathers would have done that for their son (…) I learned to speak French, then English (…) I discovered all kinds of activities, diving, horse riding, paragliding, climbing, which have forged. My father made me a jack-of-all-trades guy, a little comfortable everywhere.”
