“Have you watched the guys?” : hesitation in Quotidien after an ultra embarrassing question from Yann Barthès to a candidate from the Star Academy

This Monday, November 25, 2024, Yann Barthès received two candidates from the Star Academy, recently eliminated: Emma and Masséo. The two singers thus returned to their journey to the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys but also to their departure.

And for both artists, their best memory remains their performances at the NRJ Music Awards. The young Masseo also returned to his latest bonus: “I kind of missed my last performance… It was ok to go out.”indicated the singer. To which Yann Barthès responds: “Yes, we heard a little. You made up notes.”

A not very nice dig on the part of the host who did not hesitate to ask quite embarrassing questions to the two candidates. In particular Masseo's possible relationship with Julieor a question that left Emma speechless.

In fact, the host then asked him: “Have you watched the guys?”. With wide eyes, the young woman is forced to make the presenter repeat herself. “So I basically came to sing”she wants to point out. If the singer subsequently relaxed, on X, viewers did not hesitate to openly criticize Yann Barthès on his questions.

And the comments are very harsh: “Did they go crazy at Quotidien making people uncomfortable like that?”, “Free Masséo from this platter of shit”, can we read in particular on the social network. It seems that the host's questions did not please Star Academy fans at all, and what's more, the audience of the two singers.

If they sometimes seemed intimidated by
questions from Yann Barthès, Masseo and Emma still did well. But the Quotidien presenter remains in the crosshairs of fans of the program broadcast on TF1.
Moreover, this is not the first time that the host has been very harsh towards the students of the castle. When he received Jenifer, the big winner of season 1, he made a rather acid remark: “If we talk about them, I find that they are very talented but also smoother than you at the time”, he asked her about the students. To which the singer replied: “No, I didn't have that feeling. There are real vocal signatures…”.
