In a café in the center of Paris, Maxime Biaggi and Elian Ventre finally take some time to breathe. The two friends, originally from Bastia and Saint-Florent respectively, are only just beginning to realize the magnitude of their performance a few days earlier. For the last of the Zen show, their late show broadcast on Twitch and YouTube in which they receive a guest with humorous sequences, they brought together more than 12,000 people at the Accor Arena in Paris.
Race against time
“We had an evening full of emotions, it’s the magic of the Internet to bring together so many people so quickly”says Maxime, host of the show. And for good reason, all the places were sold in 14 minutes. “We wanted to end the show with the public in June, to definitively close the chapter. However, this was not possible due to the security measures deployed before the Olympics and no room in Paris was available”specifies the Bastiais.
When they finally got the green light to organize their event in Bercy, a two-month race against time began before November 15. “I didn't really have time to enjoy it because I had to prepare everything, whether it was sales meetings, problems with service providers or budget difficulties”explains Maxime. “We had several ideas in mind but we had to juggle with the imperativesconfides Elian, actor on the show since season 1. We got together with our team and prepared the plot of the show in three days.”
Éric and Ramzy as guests of honor
Despite the logistical headache that faced them, the selection of guests had been planned from the start. Obviously, the choice immediately fell to Éric and Ramzy. “Our generation was rocked by this duosouligne Elian. They span the decades and delight people with each of their appearances, it’s exceptional.”
