Laurent Gerra, father of Célestine: at 4 years old, the little girl already has quite a character

Laurent Gerra, renowned French comedian and impersonator, is also a happy dad. It was in 2020, at the age of 52, that he welcomed his first daughter, Célestine, the fruit of his love affair with his partner Christelle Bardet, journalist and communications director. The birth of Célestine marked a real turning point in Laurent's lifeknown for his sharp humor. For the artist, becoming a father at an advanced age was not such an easy experience, but fatherhood remains, for him, deeply enriching, especially since he approached it with maturity and serenity. The balance between his professional life and his role as a father has been found and if he does not necessarily wish to publicize his relationship or his daughter, the comedian does not hold back from mentioning the latter in interviews either. This is how we discovered a softer and a little more intimate side of him.

In an interview on RTL, Laurent Gerra confided: “I think she's going to like the stage. She loves being with my musicians (…) She sees me on a little and she says to me: 'Why didn't you say hello to me?', so now I always make sure to say a little word to him when I'm on TV.”. The one who is currently on tour took the time to share some confidences with our colleagues at the magazine Match. The journalists spoke with him only before his entry on stage and witnessed a tender moment between Laurent Gerra and his daughter Célestine while they were on video in his dressing room. Our colleagues assure us: “Sa 4 year old daughter already has some flair”. “It's a phenomenon. She's been doing the RTL credits since she was little and knows Serge Reggiani's song, 'Ma fille', by heart, which I perform in the show”the comedian said with amusement. If Célestine already wants to follow in her dad's footsteps ? Affirmative.

Laurent Gerra, late dad

This is therefore not the first time that Laurent Gerra has confided in the subject of his daughter, since he was invited on the set of What an era! last October, he spoke about how fatherhood has changed him. “It changes a lot, I already do less extreme skiing”he replied with humor. Then add: “It's true! And then Célestine has a musical ear, so I do for her, at the end of my show, My daughter Reggiani's song and I know she knows it by heart and then it changes everything. I think that everyone who has experienced this, it changes.”

On his late paternity, the artist was rather lucid. I might not have done this job if I had been a dad before. There, I am a late father. I'm going to start a big tour again and I'm a little frustrated to say to myself… But she tells me something Célestine, she says to me: “Dad, he's going to Paris to be able to pay for the rides”, he then concluded on a touching note.
