“a dark side”, the singer accused of sexual assault confronted with two new testimonies

For several weeks, Slimane, one of the most popular singers on the French music scene, has been facing accusations that tarnish his image. Le Parisien revealed on October 29 that a technician who worked on the artist's tour had filed a complaint for sexual harassment. The alleged facts took place on the night of December 17 to 18, 2023, at the Zénith in Saint-Étienne, where the artist allegedly behaved in ways deemed inappropriate towards this employee.

A few days after these first accusations, a second technician spoke out, claiming to have also been the victim of inappropriate behavior during the same evening. The man describes an explicit attack: the 35-year-old artist allegedly placed “his erect penis between his buttocks“, before the alleged victim intervened to stop his action. According to the testimonies collected, the incident was filmed, but the coach of The Voice Kids, would have requested the deletion of all the videos. This Friday, November 22, two new testimonies, relayed by Mediapart, reinforce the accusations. These witnesses claim to have “received photos of a sexual nature from the artist, in 2019 and 2021, without ever having consented to these. shipments.”

A night at a bar gone wrong

During an evening in June 2019 at the Parisian bar L'Orphée, located in the lively Pigalle district, a man in his thirties claims to have been the target of explicit messages sent by the former representative of France at Eurovision. According to his testimony, the singer first tried to convince him to extend the evening. “He said to me: 'Come back', 'What are you doing.” Faced with the silence of the person concerned, Slimane then allegedly sent several photos of a sexual nature, accompanied by offensive remarks. “He started sending me pictures of himself and his penis, and insulting me because I wasn't sending anything in return.”reports the alleged victim, who describes himself as “100 heterosexual”. Eager to put an end to this exchange, the man claims to have responded clearly “I told him to stop, telling him he was going to regret it.”

The next day, the young man reportedly shared his experience with close friends, visibly shocked by the turn of events. “He called me to say: 'Do you realize, here are the messages he sent me, with a photo of his penis'”, testifies one of them. The latter also specifies that this incident was often mentioned in their circle of friends “It's something we've never seen.” The alleged victim concludes by stating “Slimane has a dark side that I find unbearable. This behavior needs to stop.”

A flirtation that took a more oppressive turn

A fourth testimony, also relayed by our colleagues, evokes alleged facts that occurred during a private evening organized in March 2021 in Nanterre. The guest, a young man then aged 25, a medical student, explains that he met the winner of season 5 of The Voice for the first time that evening. Admiring the singer, he confides that he was seduced by his charisma and began a “little flirt of seduction.” He specifies “even though they “kissed”.”

However, the rest of the evening would have taken a more oppressive and unpleasant turn. “He asked me to go home with him, but I didn't want to sleep with him“, he explains. After declining the invitation from little Esmeralda's father, the young man claims to have received insistent messages in the following days. These messages, sent late at night, contained explicit proposals and even a sexual video.He was sending me proposals at 3 a.m., saying, 'I'm horny,' and sending me a video of himself masturbating. I stopped responding.”
