Judith Godrèche indicted: why Jacques Doillon filed a complaint against the actress

Judith Godrèche is indicted for defamation. It was the actress herself who made the announcement this Tuesday, November 19 on her Instagram account.
The person at the origin of the complaint is none other than the director Jacques Doillon, to whom Judith Godrèche had notably criticized for having sex with children.

“When you cry at home after receiving a notice of indictment for defamation linked to the complaint filed by your attacker, when the plumber is going to ring any minute to repair the boiler, when you try to be a good actress and act as if nothing had happened,” she wrote.

Judith Godrèche continues: “I have not counted the number of complaints for rape against Jacques Doillon. I know that mine is time-barred. But his defamation complaint is not. The indictment, in this case, is automatic. But still…”

Accusation of pedophilia

Jacques Doillon's complaint dates back to February 2024, recalls Midi Libre. The director reacted to “deeply offensive comments” to his dignity, according to his terms, held by Judith Godrèche. She commented on an article in Télérama as follows: “In 2022, this newspaper writes that Doillon's specialty is filming with children. A sentence is missing: 'Who he sleeps with'“.

Judith Godrèche filed a complaint against directors Benoît Jacquot and Jacques Doillon for sexual and physical violence. The latter is also the target of several other rape complaints.
