Apolline de Malherbe was determined to make her guest speak. This Wednesday, November 20, she found herself face to face with Cédric Doumbè, who came to share confidences concerning his professional career.
However, as usual, the journalist put her foot in the dish by evoking the private life of the martial arts practitioner. She wanted to come back to comments he made during the confinement period, in 2020. Isolated from the whole world, Cédric Doumbè had expressed his desire to meet someone. “You wanted to get married, find someone to live your life with, seriously and you tell your physical trainer that you want to find “a good girl”. What is this for you?”she asked.
Faced with this question, Cédric Doumbè opted for transparency. He first recalled that, at the time of confinement, he was younger and therefore had a different opinion.
“The conception we have, at the age of 26, of a good girl, she is a girl with whom we have good times, we want to stay all day, every day”he began. The athlete then specifies: “We want to get married and have children, that’s the idea of a good girl.” At that time, however, he was not surrounded by the one who would make his heart beat. “There was no one around me with whom I had this kind of desire,” he confided.
