Married three times, Nicolas Sarkozy had four children: Pierre (1985) and Jean (1986) with his former wife Marie-Dominique Culioli, without forgetting Louis (1997) whom he had from his past union with Cécilia Attias and Giulia all just 13 years old, the result of his marriage to Carla Bruni. “What kind of father are you?? Guillaume Pley asked him in particular. “Listen, my knees have been worn out since the birth of my daughter“, replied Nicolas Sarkozy with humor. “She is very important like all my children.“.

“She has the authority of her mother”, commented Nicolas Sarkozy sincerely. “It’s a big ask but I don’t have a favorite child, I love my children naturally, we are very close actually. The one who follows with the greatest attention all the projects of his descendants has also clarified with complete frankness : “They are also faced with the same difficulty: They have a name, you have to give the first name (…). I think that display is much more important than demonstration. You know, we pass it on to our children , not what we say, we transmit what we do!“
