“The laws must be respected”: C8 closed unfairly because of TPMP? A famous presenter happy with the sanction

While Cyril Hanouna and his leaders still hope to save C8, the situation of the channel does not move everyone in the media world. And certainly not Anne Nivatjournalist/presenter on LCI. According to her, Arcom's decision to remove the channel's broadcast frequency on DTT is ultimately logical and necessary.

A logical deletion for C8?

Like what Enora Malagré recently said, it is logical to see sanctions fall when limits have been set. “We live in a country which is a democracy and in which there are lawsshe recalled to Buzz . And the laws must be respected.“However, by becoming the most sanctioned channel in history in in just 20 years, C8 could not expect another destiny.

Furthermore, the presenter did not fail to highlight the irony of seeing certain people complain about a law that is fully respected, when they usually spend their time deploring its laxity on the air. “If certain channels are outlawed, while being part of many of these channels, at least for some of them, those who are always criticizing outlaws, well, we must respect the law“, she insisted.

Words which should not please Cyril Hanouna and his teams, even though C8 met with the Council of State this Friday, November 15, 2024 in order to obtain an appeal which, in the long term, could make it possible to save the channel. Unfortunately, if the decision has not yet been taken, the public rapporteur – on whom the Council will be able to rely, has already recommended rejecting the requests for annulment.
