The Oscar winner was attending a basketball game Wednesday night with her youngest son, Jack, when a player nearly knocked them over.
The evening could have gone badly for Anne Hathaway. Wednesday evening, while attending the basketball game between the New York Knicks and the Chicago Bulls with her son Jack, the star of Devil wears Prada had a good scare. Comfortably seated in the front row of Madison Square Garden, she saw Ogugua “OG” Anunoby Jr., winger of the Knicks, rush straight towards them while trying to intercept a ball.
The 27-year-old ended his race in the protective barrier, knocking over the pot of popcorn for little Jack, who will celebrate his 5th birthday this month. If the 42-year-old actress laughed at the situation, her son remained speechless in front of the basketball giant. “The little one was like hypnotized, he couldn’t move,” commented one of the match presenters, quoted by Page Six . After which, Anne Hathaway was filmed, all smiles, reassuring her son. The match ultimately ended in a victory for the Bulls (22-18).

The event allowed us to discover the face of Anne Hathaway's youngest child. Mother of two boys – Jonathan, 8 years old, and Jack, 4 years old – born from her union with her husband Adam Shulman, the actress is keen to protect their anonymity. “It’s something that I consider essential, not only for my health but also for my family,” she confided in November 2023 to PORTER the Net-a-Porter website magazine. “Children need to be able to define their own lives.”
