Clara Luciani more rock than ever

The pieces Come on, Rolled, Courage, Alone or even Too bad sound much more rock than his hits In Grenada or Breathe again. A return to the musical tastes of his youth, revived by the assessment of his life. “It’s a record where I talk a lot about my origins, but also about my beginnings in music”she said in an interview with West . “It’s a journey through time and it’s tinged with what I listened to when I was a teenager, music that was more rock, more British pop”.

His entourage also influenced this change of register. Her husband and father of her son is none other than the British Alex Kapranos, singer and guitarist of the rock group Franz Ferdinand. This love story is also played out in music, as she confided to West France : “When you share a story with someone, there is bound to be an influence. Besides, he plays guitar on two tracks”citing the “hyper rhythm guitar” et « who gallops » that he brought to the song Rolled.

And even their child has heard the more rock sounds of this album dedicated to them. To AFP, Clara Luciani revealed her son's first three words: ““mom”, “dad” and “guitar”. He will be 14 months old, he says “guitar”. I swear it's true! Guitar. It's crazy, right? “. No wonder, music runs in his blood.
