Olivier Siroux could have never participated in the Bachelor. In the show “From seduction to temptation, 20 years of dating shows on TV” broadcast on W9 on November 14, 2024, the first Bachelor spoke about his adventure and made a big revelation. Three years before his participation, he was indeed affected by a terrible illness: a cancer. “I am someone who is very lucky despite complicated moments like the death of my father and
I had cancer when I was 29. I could have not been there.” he confided.
According to him, his fight against illness is also what guided his life. “I tell myself that I am lucky and that I must take advantage of it.” added Olivier Siroux. And his participation in the Bachelor was the first crazy experience he embarked on in 2003. Moreover, since then, the program has always stuck with him. “People when I meet them always ask me the same question 'what are you doing now?' And that’s what I’ve always done, be an entrepreneur.” he explained.
Olivier Siroux: “I'm starting to get old.”
Over the years, Olivier Siroux decided to take care of himself. To stay in shape, the father trains in boxing. “I'm starting to get older (…) I needed a somewhat intense activity to lose weight and clear my head (…) I want to grow old well because my children are quite young and I want to to see them get married.” he said.
In a relationship with Aurélia whom he married in 2015, the former Bachelor now lives with their three children in a chic suburb of the Paris region. “When I was 30, the life I have now is the life I always dreamed of. My wife and I will never separate. We have no doubt about our love.” he confided with great tenderness.

In the show, Olivier Siroux also spoke about his participation in the Bachelor. “I agreed to do this show out of a spirit of adventure but I was super intimidated (…) I was stressed with the arrival of the girls and there were at least 100 people. When I look at myself now I find myself a little stupid.” he confided with humor. In the end, Oivier Siroux left with Alexandra with whom he lived for a while.
