London was in turmoil this Wednesday, November 13. And there was plenty since there were many big movie stars per square meter. It was this evening that was chosen for the premiere of the film Gladiator II directed by Ridley Scott. Some of the actors from the film had made the trip. We were able to find Connie Nielsen, Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Denzel Washington and Joseph Quinn on the red carpet. But they weren't the only stars of the evening. King Charles III arrived in style, in a bow tie suit to come and shake hands famous actors.
Not a little proud to meet the stars led by Ridley Scott, Charles III introduced himself with great enthusiasm. Fans of royalty present at the scene must nevertheless have been very disappointed to see him appear. If they expected to see Queen Camilla at his side, withdrawn some time ago for health reasons, they unfortunately did not have the chance to see her on the arm of her king.
What they didn't know then was that she was indeed present in the area. If the Sovereign still has to take care after the chest infection which affected her and weakened her, she can nevertheless gradually resume some of her royal obligations and outings in a reasonable manner. And after reappearing at a reception at Clarence House for the Booker Prize on Tuesday, November 12, Camilla did it again the very next day.
Queen Camilla's health no longer a concern
Camilla Parker-Bowles did not benefit from the screening of the film Gladiator II but she was on the other hand present with her husband, King Charles III, at the reception for the centenary of the Film and TV Foundation which took place at Buckingham Palace. The queen dressed to the nines and appeared smiling and visibly in good shape, also shaking hands with guests like Ben Kingsley, Ridley Scott and Lucien Laviscount. Enough to reassure those most worried about the state of health of the 77-year-old queen who can therefore return to certain commitments without pulling on the rope…
